You know I am not too big a fan of large traffic jams. Especially during rush hour. It’s not easy sitting in an area for twenty minutes when you could have arrived at the end in five. It’s even worse when the u-turn area is congested as well. When I am in a situation like this I feel trapped. I feel that there is nothing I can do and that my destiny is in the hands of the ever-changing traffic light. This which, by the way, seems to stay on green for a slightly shorter period of time than usual.
Just that feeling of restriction awakens a fire inside me that wishes to escape. It wishes to escape from the car and run, not walk to my destination. This fire does not care that the body will burn a great amount of energy to arrive at the destination. All this fire desires is freedom. There is only one reason the fire does not have its way. The body needs the car for the times when it happens to not be in traffic.
How to you feel about traffic jams?
